Calvary of Nashville

Calvary of Nashville is a growing church of believers dedicated to worshiping the Lord Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Jesus Christ and be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only to their over-emphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the Body of Christ.

Our Pastor, John Privitt, was called to form this fellowship of Believers in 1998. It began as a home fellowship, an outreach of Calvary of Albuquerque. John served under Pastor Skip Heitzig as Worship Leader for Calvary Albuquerque and taught a Saturday evening Bible Study in that ministries early years. John was an interim Pastor at Calvary Chapel Ukiah California, and served as Youth Pastor for Calvary Chapel Cool Springs prior to the call to plant the church in Nashville.

Pastor John and his wife Stephanie are committed to providing verse by verse teaching through the Bible in a simple straight forward style that is easy to understand and apply to our daily lives. The teaching of the Word of God is central to our ministry. We believe that all true ministry flows from the study of God’s Word, and the daily practical application of it’s teachings.
